Entrepreneur, business leader and strategist, Steve McCauley has extensive experience on an international basis. His strategic advice is sought by leading global organisations as diverse as the BBC, IBM, Hutchison, Viacom, GWR Group, EMI and Microsoft, when change and fresh thinking is needed. He is a partner at Barchester Partners LLP where he guides entrepreneurs in the group portfolio.
Steve has been a professional speaker for over ten years. He speaks about success and the future of international business in a climate of rapid change. Steve has given keynote addresses for many clients, including the British American Business Council, BT, Cisco, Denton Wilde Sapte, the DTI, EMI, Hewlett-Packard, The Institute of Directors, Mensa, Miller Freeman, O2, Siemens, Spencer Stuart, Sprint, Southern Health Board (Ireland) and UBS.
Steve is conversant with many industries and is expert in media, broadcasting, entertainment, software, consumer and business marketing and new media technology. As a senior executive in the US music business and the software industry, he has had direct operational experience of solving complex business and technological issues. Steve co-founded Leavesden Studios near London, the film studio complex where the James Bond film GoldenEye, the Harry Potter movies and Star Wars Episode 1 were shot.
Steve took part in the New Enterprise Programme at London Business School. He is a member of the Royal Institute of International Affairs (Chatham House).
